Went to watch Skyfire today! it was a beautiful night. the scenery at the lake was beautiful.. there were loads of people at the lake, i think practically the whole Canberra was there. we were taking pictures while waiting for the event to start. as usual isn't it? hehee.. before the fireworks, Lee, who was a contestant in the Australian Idol last year, performed. everyone was crowding around the stage area where we were sitting, so we changed to somewhere further in front, closer to the lake. we could see the sun setting.. and the view was breath taking. at about 8.30pm, there were bright lights in the skies:) they looked so beautiful, with slight chilly weather but it was fine, sitting on the grass, just looking at different colours of lights falling down like stars.. i'm waiting to watch the next fireworks.. :)
