Woke up at 10AM today, has to be one of those miracle morning's that God decides "Hey wouldn't it be nice if I woke him early for an early start this morning!". So yeah got ready and all, finally got to the lecture, well, slightly later, bout half an hour, haha. Luckly the lecturer was late herself.

Didn't do much today, but since I was pretty bored during lecture time, I decided, why not cam whore abit, after all, everyone does it. :rolls eyes: Oh yes, bought some buns on the way home too, Garlic Bun with Pork Floss and erm.. another Pork floss bun, woot!

I'm full now. just had my instant noodles with friends as usual, that happens almost every night since i came here. it rained just now.. the sound of the rain and the smell of the rain is nice to hear and breathe while online and listening to some nice soothing songs:) i love rain! weird things have been going on, haha and really,it can't get any weirder. probably it's just Canberra. oh well, it's 3 am already, i better be heading to bed now. been up so late these days and waking up for breakfast at 8am. such a bad routine. sleeping after having my supper and probably online for a weee bit while if there's still something to do=) so off to bed for now.. Last night or should i say evening, we had commencement dinner at Bruce Hall, where everyone has to dress formal and wear their academic gowns which makes you look like a bat. It started off with pre-dinner at the packard quad where each person is entitled to one drink. Then we headed off to the dining hall for dinner. At least we got to choose our seats, unlike the year before where the seats are already allocated and you will have to sit with people that you might not know. The meal started off with an entree which i have no idea what it is, i think it was beef with some cold noodles and veggies. Then speeches came in as well as some saxophone performance which was entertaining before the main meal was served. We kept toasting with one another and coming up with different reasons to toast. oh and of course there were lots of pictures taking in the middle of the dinner, but didn't get to take a picture of this waiter who a few of us thought was not bad looking-.=. haha. okay that was random. back to the topic, then it was desert, some cream with some nice biscuit. If the cream was replaced with ice-cream, it would perfect!:) we bottomed up few glasses of wine towards the end for the fun of it, till i accidentally spilled wine on myself and the chair! oops=p after dinner, we headed to Gus but it was full, so we ended up having coffee at a place nearby Gus. everyone was busy chatting with everyone and i ended up taking pictures again in the dark=p then came back to Bruce Hall to change and headed of to one of the person's room to play cards, while the rest played mah jong there! there goes the whole night.. what a long night:)

Yesterday was a little more eventful than my usual weekdays. Woke up early in the morning so i could pay my upcoming semester's fee. Then headed to ss19 for breakfast with Jen. After that, we needed to go the driving school in Taipan to get my driving license renewed. Yep, it has expired and i only found out about it after 1 month. Literally, i've been driving around Klang Valley without a driving license. However, the office would not be open until its 11am. We're done with breakfast by 9.45am. So we decided to go back to Jen's place to kill time. We snapped a couple of photos and watch Jeff Corwin's Experience. He's such a joker :D

Just before we left the house, Jen recieves a letter from ACCA, we all know its her result by mail. She anxiously tore the envelope and look for her figures. It was a really good result. She didnt just merely pass, but with really great grade. I'm proud of you dear. So we decided to go 1u and have a mini celebration of our own. However, we had a problem. We didnt know where to go :D but we've decided it has to be in 1u because we've made movie reservation for 2.30pm. On a plus side, we had plenty of time to walk around. Indecision us! We finally decided to have our mini-celebration-come-lunch @ TGIF.

Yes, we ended up switching our food like usual. However, i did help out Jen with the chicken fingers. She claimed it was really too chunky. I think so too, it was all purely breast meat i guess? The creamy sauce taste great too. Fries are particularly salty which serves my tastebud well :D


Lunch was too boring for Jen i guess? : After lunch.

Upon paying for the meal, we walked towards GSC. It was pretty crowded even for a Friday afternoon i thought. However, we need not queue as we've already collected our ticket way earlier :P thanks to smartie me! We watched The Pink Panther. IMHO, this is one wickedly witty movie that people of all ages should watch. Never had such a great laugh for so long already. Totally recommended! Two Thumbs Up. As the saying goes, 'Laughter is the best Medicine' mar.

Basically it's New Zealand's soccer team vs the Malaysian team. Yes, we all know, Malaysia's soccer team is like mash potatoes in a KFC combo meal.

I had tickets to the "big" game tonight for Malaysians but guess what, now I can't find the tickets, I could merely remember where the.. okay I'll calm myself down, and repeat it once more, I couldn't remember where was the tickets when I suddenly remembered there was a game tonight, and that I would be goin' out tonight, but GUESS NOT.

How lame can this be, eventually I told my friend to keep the tickets but he insisted on giving it to me first, so I did and there goes my tickets! weeeee. Another bloody boring night T_T.

So here I was, standing in the uni, this is my second day here, missed the first class, so I decided I HAD to go for this lecture, in the end, I could not find the WE block which was some new block. Gosh, the Uni moved somewhere else and it's been pretty messy.

In total = 3 classes skipped.

Oh wells, tomorrow will definitely be a more relaxing day, only have class from 2-4PM so that'll be sweeeet like chocalate.

Can't wait for my carton T_T...

I'm so sleepy! i dread going for the next class at 3! 2 hours of marketing was dreadful.. was so sleepy and bored. luckily for my phone:p if not, i think i would have fallen asleep. now that classes have started, i should not be so lazy anymore! i'm still in a holiday mood:(

Sorry for the lack of post. and now.. hon faai is actually blogging more than me. don't blame me. i'm just being too lazy these days and always being caught up with stuff=p there was a trip organized by Bruce Hall to Questacon, a kids science centre, last week. Justina, Sean and i went there the last time but we did not go in as we thought it was really kiddy and i think it was kinda costly. This time we only had to pay $7 for transportation as well as entrance fee! so we were like, "Why not?", we can go and have some fun and bring out the child in every one of us:)


"The Free Fall". i think that's what it's called. you're supposed to feel gravity-less. i didn't dare to do this=p looks scary.. i have a weak heart alright..



i forgotten what's this called. it's something about facing your fears. oh well.. i didn't do this as well=p some girl who did it acted damn funny.. it was like she shake her hands and head after the chopper came down. i think she felt she had lost her head?!=p



Curve Ball. i played this with Justina!! and we didn't manage to catch any balls.. how embarassing. we were throwing it the wrong way=p was feeling dizzy when we were playing that..

i have finally unpacked EVERYTHING i think.. simply chucked them inside my cupboard! it took me a week to actually finish unpacking (or maybe because i was too lazy to touch them). it's like when i look at the luggage full of clothes and another box filled with clothes, i instantly became too lazy to unpack. i didn't know where to put them. so one fine day, after breakfast, i made the effort to actually unpack them and hang them up as well as put them into my drawers. here is how it looks like now.. kinda difficult to choose my clothes though.

On Saturday, when we were leaving Canberra centre, there was a parade going on. though it was sunny, we stayed a while and watched the parade as we have not seen one here. It was alright. the ones with bands were pretty cool. it's DAMN FREAKING HOT these days. can't stand the heat. the hall does not provide fan neither is there centralized aircond! goodness sake..










and this is what i do every night. hanging out with friends.. to drink, eat and play cards!:p i was known as the person who was staying in Bruce Hall but was never seen around to those who were here last year.. hehe.. "invisible" me. nah this year there wouldn't be much of disappearing act to do, so i think i'll be always be seen around:) these days, i've been eating instant noodles almost everyday.. and i'm about to form the "Indo Mee Club" where i have 3 members in already=p justina the vice, eu liang the secretary and toshi the treasurer. i even thought of suggesting it to ANU. haha.. yeayea.. LAME!

Since i'm now sharing blog with a partner (yes, a very lazy and useless one), i'm bound to update more often because if i dont, i believe this blog would just die off like many of her previous ones. Just as stated in my previous post, i've been listening to IL Divo very often lately, and boy, they're really good. I'm becoming more and more addicted to their music.

In another issue, my dad has been nagging me pretty often lately. He thinks i'm not living as healthy as he wants me to. Sleeping too early at 9pm, waking up at 3am, making supper usually and watch tv or rather gundam seed destiny on my laptop until 7am only to fetch my brother to college. Yes, he's not gotten his license yet which im totally frustrated about. I did urge him to go for the test during his holiday back in december but he was just too glued infront of his laptop playing o2jam.

That's been my daily routine and i realise there's just another week more to go before my semester resumes. Boy, im gonna miss the luxury of being carefree for the next 4months, i know i'd. Particularly spending time with her ...

I wonder how many of u watches the winter olympic going on in torino now by the way? Oh i'm only interested in the bobsleigh but i didnt manage to catch it this time :'( and i'm totally suprised with the news that more people watches american idol than the winter olympic. it's not that i've anything against american idol, but i thought olympic should be more meaningful? Celebrate Humanity anyone? I know you might be thinkin that i'm a hypocrite myself right, since i didnt manage to catch the bobsleigh competition. Well, i dont watch american idol the very least! :D i think it's getting really boring since it's an annual thingy.


ps: wow, we're hitting 1k visits :P yay! and everyone, if wei cheng happen to ask u what's gundam, tell her it's a camera equipped with make up tools.

Lately, i've been watching astro alot and once my program goes into commercial break, i have got the habit to check what's being aired even if i'm in a middle of a movie. Dont ask, i just dont know why. I just do have that habit. Usually, i'd switch over to mtv and channel v to check what's playing. Lately, both channel appears to be promoting IL Divo alot. For our mountain tortoise readers, il divo is a group of 4 not as good looking as i am lads but definately with way powerful voice than mine.

Apparently, all 4 of them are from different country and was founded by Simon Cowell, the fugly from American Idol. Anyway to the main topic, much to my curiousity, i wonder what's with the big hype about them. I went and gotten a copy of their ANCORA 2005 album. It's supposed to be their latest album as just launched in January.

The next minute, i find myself hooked to their song. It's really great. Its more of like a mixture of classical and soprano. Well, the least that's how i categories its genre. Very good, highly recommanded. Please try :)

I woke up pretty early today, around 6.50am. Yes, it's early as compared to most of you i believe, especially on a Saturday morning. Anyway, i wanted to catch the replay of Friend's which i've missed yesterday. After that, i notice ESPN or rather Starsports was going to broadcast a Classic FA CUP semi final of Chelsea vs Man Utd from the 95/96 season. I tell you, i was totally tickled when i see some fimiliar faces (or not so familiar faces because it was 10 years ago) with the likes of Alex Fergie, Giggs, Roy Keane, the Nevilles bro, Gullit, Wise, Sparky, Steve Clarke :D they were ALL SO YOUNG i tell you! Oh and the most obvious has to be David Beckham. He's aged quite a lot if compared to how he's look now. Must be all the makes up he has to put on the last decade for his other part time, CELEBRITY :D ha ha ha. That just proves make up doesnt make you look good, in long term! *coughweichengcough* On the other hand, i thought Nicky Butt never really changed.

Football aside, after the game, i switched to Channel V. The Ticket was on and it was a special edition in conjunction of Valentine's Day. So they had a list of favourite romantic comedy. Though i didnt manage to watch most of the list, i manage to only see notting hill and love actually featured. Boo hoo! I really believe Love Believe IS one of the best, if not the best romantic comedy around especially since its so ENGLISH. i am a sucker for english oriented movies. So Hugh Grant is absolutely smashing!

Had a busy day yesterday. Went to uni a while with Justina for market day. signed up for a few societies (forced.. haha). then rushed back to Bruce Hall to prepare for the garden party. it was a semi-formal/formal kinda thing. it's just so weird to dress up all nicely to walk out of my room. Practically, it's just about drinking and meeting new people. The guys were all dressed up in suits while the girls were in their semi-formal clothes. it's something new to us, so we thought we ought to go and have a look at it. $5 for non-drinking and $10 for drinking which entitles you 3 drinks. haha i think i went a little off after drinking.. i think justina think's i was a little weird at that time:p therefore, i headed back to my room after drinking and to the bed i went. had a real bad headache after throwing up.. At about 10 plus, about 8 of them came over to my room (sorry for the mess in my room!). We played cards as well as mind games? ahha whatever it's called. it was fun!:) i think we were making lots of noise! i learned two new card games which were mafia and indian poker. heh. at least now, it does not feel so bad anymore with more people back in Bruce Hall.
